THIS OATH OF OFFICE IS SWORN TO BY ALL ELECTED MEMBERS OF OUR DELAWARE STATE LEGISLATURE AND BY OUR GOVERNOR, LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR, AND ALL OTHER ELECTED MEMBERS OF OUR STATE’S EXECUTIVE BRANCH OF GOVERNMENT:

Section 20 of the Delaware State Constitution:

   Any member of the General Assembly who has a personal or private interest in any measure or bill pending in the 'General Assembly shall disclose the fact to the House of which he is a member and shall not vote thereon.
